EKI donation at the Third Elementary School, Bugojno

The Third Elementary School is located in Bugojno. It is one of the three city elementary schools attended by a large number of students from rural settlements such as Vrpeč, Crniče, Kandija, and Vrbanja, as well as from city areas belonging to this school. This institution has its own gymnasium, but it also faced the problem of its poor equipment, making it very difficult to conduct physical education classes effectively.

A limited and poor assortment of sports equipment and teaching aids prompted the school's management to seek help from EKI in acquiring the new sports equipment they needed. The financial resources available to the school were not sufficient to ensure adequate conditions for teaching, and there was a real need to do so. As part of Socially Responsible Activities, the EKI donation went to the hands of the students of this school.

The sports equipment they identified as necessary was quickly procured. Balls for four fundamental sports that interest young people the most, football, basketball, volleyball, and handball, were purchased, as well as gymnastics equipment.

The school's management expressed gratitude to EKI for the donation. We believe that the students were genuinely pleased, and that physical education classes will be much more interesting and of higher quality in the future.
