In the municipality of Gacko lives Slobodan Papović, a man whose story can be described as a blend of tradition and modern approaches to livestock farming. Three years ago, Slobodan decided to revive a family tradition and started raising goats, beginning modestly with just 20 animals. His passion for livestock farming is not just a business but a calling inherited from his ancestors, which he now proudly passes on to future generations.

In the meantime, Slobodan managed to expand his herd with an additional 80 goats. This expansion would not have been possible without the support of his wife, who actively participates in daily tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly. They sell goat milk to regular customers and young goats through advertisements. Their united family is the key to the success of their farm, with teamwork and mutual support helping them overcome the challenges of agriculture.

Although livestock farming provides a decent income, Slobodan still relies on his regular job at a local company. This additional source of income provides stability and allows them to invest in improving their business. Slobodan understands that good investment decisions and planning are crucial for future development.

He expresses special gratitude for the support he received from the Microcredit Company EKI. As he says, EKI loans have been "a wind at his back" in achieving his goals.
