EKI Donation to PI Primary School “Pazar”, Tuzla
At PI Primary School “Pazar” in Tuzla, one of the oldest educational institutions in the city, stories are written every day that extend far beyond classrooms, textbooks, and the school bell. Founded in 1882, the school currently educates around 380 students from the local communities of Jala, Slatina, and Centar, striving to provide every child with equal opportunities for learning, development, and growth.
However, like in many schools, physical education classes have faced challenges due to a lack of basic sports equipment. Recognizing the need to provide students with a more engaging and effective learning environment, the school's staff reached out for support.
Microcredit Company EKI responded to their request, as it recognized the importance of investing in children, education, and healthy development through its social responsibility initiatives. A decision was made to donate sports equipment, including handballs, volleyballs, basketballs, gym mats, and sports T-shirts, to enhance the quality of physical education classes and provide students with better conditions for learning and participation.
Teachers welcomed the support, which will help them make their lessons more diverse and effective, while students enthusiastically explored and tested the new equipment.
This donation is not merely material assistance; it is also a message that children matter, that their development is worth investing in, and that communities become stronger when institutions and socially responsible organizations work together toward a common goal.
Through this initiative, Microcredit Company EKI has once again demonstrated its commitment to the community and its role in supporting the education and development of young people. Sometimes, the greatest value lies not in what is donated, but in what it inspires — smiles, motivation, and a sense of belonging.
