EKI Donation to the Primary School "Fahrudin Fahro Baščelija", Goražde

On the right bank of the Drina, in the heart of Goražde, stands the Public Primary School "Fahrudin Fahro Baščelija" – a place where children aged six to sixteen learn, grow, and develop every day. In addition to its regular educational program, the school is dedicated to supporting students with developmental disabilities through a specialized classroom and a learning environment tailored to their individual needs.

The school includes a gymnasium, ten classrooms, a library, and a dedicated space for the special education department. Beyond regular classes, students have access to a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs throughout the school year, helping them develop their talents, strengthen their confidence, foster a competitive spirit, and build a sense of belonging within the community.

The Microcredit Foundation EKI supported the school by donating funds for the purchase of air conditioning units and LCD televisions. The new equipment will improve working conditions for teachers and enhance the delivery of the educational program, creating a more comfortable and modern learning environment for students.
