EKI Donation to the Public Elementary School “Sveti Sava” Rudice, Novi Grad

The Public Elementary School “Sveti Sava” Rudice is a branch school located in the quiet settlement of Rudice, about 8 km from the center of Novi Grad. Although small in number, the school is big in achievement — out of a total of 35 students, 20 are excellent pupils. They are cared for by three dedicated teachers and one teaching assistant. Classes are held in three classrooms in a relatively new building, but without a finished facade, which often makes conditions difficult during hot days. For years, fans were the only solution, and even they provided only short-term relief.

During the visit to the school, the EKI Microcredit Organization was welcomed with genuine warmth — from the teaching staff to the pupils themselves, who proudly performed a piece they had prepared for the celebration of the school’s patron saint day. That moment, filled with children’s joy and pride, reminded us why supporting the community carries such deep meaning.

By purchasing air conditioners, we enabled more comfortable and higher-quality teaching conditions. Our small contribution means that children will learn in a better environment, while teachers will work with greater comfort.

With this donation, we once again confirmed that EKI is not just a financial institution, but also a partner of the community — attentive to the needs of the people among whom it operates and lives.
