EKI donation to the Public Primary School "Špionica," Srebrenik

In approximately three years, the Public Primary School "Špionica" in the municipality of Srebrenik will celebrate a century of existence. In 1926, when it was founded, it accommodated 120 students from Špionica and several settlements in the Gradačac municipality, on donated church land.

This institution for the education of students remained in that building until the construction of a new school building began in 1952. After that, besides the central school, branch schools were built in Srednja and Donja Špionica and in Gornji Hrgovi, which still belong to this school today.

The rich history is undoubtedly something that adorns this school. Regarding working conditions, especially concerning physical education classes, the situation is not so great. To provide students and teachers with easier and higher-quality teaching, EKI decided to donate sports equipment and various sports requisites they needed.

Currently, about 260 students attend classes in this school, and we are glad that, by providing the necessary equipment, we have made high-quality physical education classes part of their daily routine. Given that this donation genuinely pleased them, the school director, Hašim Vikalo, expressed great gratitude to EKI on behalf of the students and teachers for this gesture.
