Participation of EKI at the "Future of Financial Institutions" Conference

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Sarajevo, a conference titled "Future of Financial Institutions" was held, organized by Bloomberg Adria. The conference included three panel discussions where participants had the opportunity to express their opinions on various topics.

The organizers gathered leading experts from the financial sectors to share their experiences and analyze current trends in the industry. Their task was also to discuss key issues in the areas of digitization, investment, and sustainable business practices that will greatly shape the future of financial institutions.

The third panel was titled "Sustainability and ESG Practices in Financial Institutions," and Mr. Esad Uzunić, the director of the Microcredit Foundation EKI, participated in it along with his colleagues. Mr. Uzunić stated through his presentation that non-financial services provided to clients in the microcredit sector are gaining importance. He also emphasized that client education is a crucial aspect for the sustainability of financial institutions.
